The Videoconference Interview (Part 2)
As what I�ve said in my previous post, a job seeker should prepare for the videoconference interview as this can be thrown your way any time. Here are some tips to prepare yourself in this non-traditional method of interviewing potential job candidates used by a number of companies today:
1. Do a mock videoconference interview. This way, you get to observe your facial expressions, posture and the way you speak. Correct your mistakes, if any.
2. Dress appropriately. Wear something nice as you would an on-site job interview.
3. Keep your surroundings clean. Avoid clutter in the background so the hiring manager gets a glimpse of your work habits.
