America’s Top 100 Employers for 2008
I’m sure everyone will love to hear this news. Fortune magazine has already released the top 100 companies to work for in 2008 and guess what, Google ranks no. 1 again just like last year.
Google was followed by Quicken Loans at the second spot, Wegmans Food Markets at third, Edward Jones at fourth and Genentech at fifth. Google posted a job growth of 60 percent and I think this is enough proof of its growing presence in the market and stability as a company.
Apparently, Google remains on top because it never fails to make employees happy by allowing them to try new things. Pay and perks asides, Google is also innovative as it continues to develop new products and services. I think this is what makes it a desirable employer.
